Biography

Originaire de Marbourg, la flûtiste Anissa Baniahmad est flûtiste solo au Théâtre national de Mannheim depuis 2020. Auparavant, elle a travaillé sous contrat à durée déterminée avec l'Orchestre symphonique de Hambourg ainsi qu'à l'Opéra de Francfort. Elle s'est également produite en tant qu'artiste invitée avec, entre autres, l'Orchestre symphonique allemand de Berlin, l'Orchestre symphonique de Bamberg, l'Orchestre philharmonique de la NDR, l'Orchestre philharmonique de Dresde ainsi que l'Ensemble Resonanz.

Die aus Marburg stammende Flötistin Anissa Baniahmad ist seit 2020 Soloflötistin am Nationaltheater Mannheim. Zuvor war sie im Zeitvertrag bei den Hamburger Symphonikern sowie an der Oper Frankfurt tätig. Darüber hinaus gastierte sie unter anderem beim Deutschen Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, bei den Bamberger Symphonikern, der NDR Radiophilharmonie, der Dresdner Philharmonie sowie dem Ensemble Resonanz.

Flutist Anissa Baniahmad, who grew up in Marburg, has been principal flutist at the National Theater Mannheim since 2020. Prior to that, she held temporary engagements with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and the Frankfurt Opera. She has also made guest appearances with the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Radio Philharmonic, the Dresden Philharmonic, and the Ensemble Resonanz, among others.

Elle a suivi une formation à l'École supérieure de musique et des arts du spectacle de Francfort auprès de Paul Dahme et Stephanie Winker, ainsi qu'à l'Université des Arts de Berlin auprès de Christina Fassbender. Dans le cadre du programme Erasmus, elle a poursuivi ses études au Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris auprès de Philippe Bernold.

Anissa Baniahmad a remporté plusieurs concours, dont le « Concours pour Jeunes Solistes » international au Luxembourg, et a notamment bénéficié du soutien de la Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes ainsi que de la Mozart Gesellschaft Dortmund.

La musique de chambre occupe une place centrale dans son travail artistique. De 2014 à 2022, elle a été membre du quintette à vent Monet, qui a été admis dans la sélection fédérale des jeunes artistes après ses succès au Concours allemand de musique. Elle se produit en outre régulièrement dans différentes formations et forme depuis 2019, avec le guitariste Jesse Flowers, le duo Revelio.

Parallèlement à ses activités de concertiste, elle se consacre intensément à l'enseignement. Depuis le semestre d'hiver 2025/26, elle enseigne en tant que chargée de cours à l'École supérieure de musique et des arts du spectacle de Mannheim, où elle remplace un poste de professeur vacant et encadre des étudiants en spécialisation flûte.

Elle s'intéresse par ailleurs au travail mental et au développement personnel et suit actuellement une formation de coach en mindset selon la méthode de Christian Bischoff.

Ihre Ausbildung erhielt sie an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt bei Paul Dahme und Stephanie Winker sowie an der Universität der Künste Berlin bei Christina Fassbender. Weitere Studien führten sie im Rahmen des Erasmus-Programms an das Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris zu Philippe Bernold.

Anissa Baniahmad ist Preisträgerin mehrerer Wettbewerbe, darunter des internationalen „Concours pour Jeunes Solistes“ in Luxemburg, und wurde unter anderem von der Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes sowie der Mozart Gesellschaft Dortmund gefördert.

Ein zentraler Schwerpunkt ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit liegt auf der Kammermusik. Von 2014 bis 2022 war sie Mitglied des Monet Bläserquintetts, das nach Erfolgen beim Deutschen Musikwettbewerb in die Bundesauswahl junger Künstler aufgenommen wurde. Darüber hinaus konzertiert sie regelmäßig in unterschiedlichen Besetzungen und bildet seit 2019 gemeinsam mit dem Gitarristen Jesse Flowers das Duo Revelio.

Neben ihrer Konzerttätigkeit widmet sie sich intensiv der pädagogischen Arbeit. Seit dem Wintersemester 2025/26 unterrichtet sie als Lehrbeauftragte an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim in Vertretung einer vakanten Professur und betreut dort Hauptfachstudierende im Fach Flöte.

Darüber hinaus beschäftigt sie sich mit mentaler Arbeit und persönlicher Entwicklung und absolviert derzeit eine Ausbildung zum Mindset-Coach nach Christian Bischoff.

She completed her studies at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with Paul Dahme and Stephanie Winker, and at the Berlin University of the Arts with Christina Fassbender. As part of the Erasmus program, she studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with Philippe Bernold.

Anissa Baniahmad is a prize winner of several competitions, including the international “Concours pour Jeunes Solistes” in Luxembourg, and has received support from the German National Academic Foundation and the Mozart Society of Dortmund, among others.

A central focus of her artistic work is chamber music. From 2014 to 2022, she was a member of the Monet Wind Quintet, which was accepted into the Federal Selection of Young Artists following successes at the German Music Competition. In addition, she performs regularly in various ensembles and, since 2019, has formed the Duo Revelio together with guitarist Jesse Flowers.

In addition to her concert career, she is deeply committed to teaching. Since the 2025–26 winter semester, she has been teaching as an adjunct professor at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, filling a vacant professorship, where she mentors undergraduate students majoring in flute.

Furthermore, she is engaged in mental training and personal development and is currently completing training as a mindset coach according to Christian Bischoff.

Duo Revelio

Le Duo Revelio, c'est Anissa Baniahmad (flûte) et Jesse Flowers (guitare).
Depuis leur rencontre au Concours allemand de musique, elles partagent une passion commune pour la richesse sonore de cette formation particulière. Avec un sens aigu des timbres et de l'expression, elles revisitent des œuvres connues et enrichissent leur répertoire de leurs propres arrangements. Leurs concerts séduisent par leur profondeur musicale, leur virtuosité et une communication directe et vivante avec le public.

Teaching

J'apprécie tout particulièrement de travailler avec des élèves de niveau avancé et des étudiants qui se préparent spécifiquement aux examens d'entrée.
Outre le développement technique et musical, j'accorde une grande importance à une approche holistique : le travail corporel et l'entraînement mental font partie intégrante de mes cours, inspirés par ma formation de coach en mindset.

I particularly enjoy working with advanced students and university students who are specifically preparing for entrance exams.
